# Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Tomball, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts with rotating weekends; no on-call requirement

Highlights:

• 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit utilizing AWHONN staffing ratios for safe, patient-centered care
• Comprehensive case mix including labor management, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and pre-op/PACU support
• Advanced technology including GE fetal monitoring systems, wireless monitoring (NOVII), and Baxter IV pumps
• EMR platforms: Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses, surgical techs, and ultrasound support
• Opportunities to utilize advanced skills including device placement (IUPC, FSE) and newborn transition

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas
• Strong independent L&D skills required: cervical checks, OR circulator experience, IV starts, and medication management including oxytocin and magnesium
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and EFM
• Demonstrated competency in labor management
• Preferred: Experience with intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) and fetal scalp electrode (FSE) placement
• Preferred: Newborn transition experience
