Benefits Very competitive compensation Fully paid health, dental and vision insurance for employee, spouse and family Generous PTO 401k Plan Team events (minimum of monthly) What you’ll do here In this role you will serve as a senior member of Triad Wealth’s Investment Team and will be responsible for portfolio management, investment strategy implementation, and relationship management for our independent advisor membership. The Portfolio Manager will work closely with the team, led by our Chief Investment Officer, to ensure the highest standard of service, support and subject matter expertise. A primary function will be providing and executing investment recommendations in line with our firm's investment philosophy and proprietary allocation process. This role requires both deep investment expertise and a consultative mindset. The Portfolio Manager will regularly engage with financial advisors to present investment recommendations, construct portfolios, and develop tailored investment proposals for client portfolios. Other responsibilities include collaborating on investment and market research, contributing to published commentary and investment content, monitoring advisor portfolios for risk, and working cross‑functionally with all Triad Wealth departments during advisor onboarding and integration initiatives. This role combines investment leadership, portfolio strategy, and advisor relationship management to deliver exceptional advisor and client outcomes. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact with our advisory members regarding the management of their clients’ investment portfolios. Consult with members and provide investment education and recommendations based on Triad Wealth's investment philosophy and platform. Conduct regular meetings with members to ensure transparency, communicate investment updates and alignment with their clients’ goals and objectives. Respond promptly to member inquiries and provide proactive communication regarding portfolio changes or updates. Support the trading and investment research teams on portfolio implementation, onboarding new advisory firms and developing tailored investment solutions for high net worth clients and prospects. Support internal investment discussions and contribute to the evolution of Triad Wealth’s investment platform and portfolio solutions. Assist in the development of Triad Wealth's market and economic commentary updates, as well as sourcing and distributing curated, value‑add investment content from our strategic asset management partners. Partner with Triad Wealth's financial planning division to ensure investment recommendations are adhering to financial planning best practices. Mentor other department team members and support the continued development of the investment team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field. Minimum of 7–10 years of experience working in investment management or financial services. Proven track record of working directly with financial advisors and/or advisory clients in a fiduciary capacity. Experience presenting investment recommendations, portfolio strategies, and market insights to advisors or clients. Ability to build and maintain trust‑based relationships with independent financial advisors and their support staff. Willingness to problem‑solve and work cross‑collaboratively with other divisions of Triad Wealth (Operations, Onboarding, Compliance, etc.). In‑depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, asset allocation and financial planning principles. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Trading experience preferred (Orion Eclipse/TOM, CircleBlack, Addepar, APX, iRebal, etc.). Certified to work as an Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65, Series 7 & 66, or equivalent), or willingness to complete within 90 days of hire. As a registered principal of Triad Wealth this position is subject to SEC restrictions on personal political contributions and gifts & entertainment. Reporting & Work Arrangement This role reports to Triad Wealth’s Chief Investment Officer and offers in‑office, hybrid (at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best for you based on several factors.
