Construction Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee site operations on a major commercial construction project. You will be responsible for ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on program and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team. Our client is a major commercial construction company with growth and development opportunities to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise day-to-day construction activities on site. Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with RAMS, drawings and specifications. Monitor progress, productivity, quality and workmanship. Identify and resolve site issues, delays and construction challenges. Coordinate materials, plant, labor and site resources. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements. Maintain accurate site records, reports and progress updates. Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety legislation and company procedures. Drive a positive safety culture and high standards of workmanship across the project. The successful candidate will have: 5+ years’ experience in construction commercial Superintendent role, Senior Site Manager or construction Manager. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site operations including Procore. Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills. A good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. The confidence to lead teams and make decisions in a fast-paced site environment. Relevant construction qualifications and site safety certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
