Our center operates Monday through Friday, offering a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance while allowing ample opportunity for patient collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patient medical histories and perform specialized assessments to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.Engage patients and their families in understanding evaluation outcomes and collaboratively setting achievable goals for therapy.Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient presentations, leveraging your clinical expertise to optimize recovery outcomes.Document all patient information accurately and timely, including progress notes and charges, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care, promptly addressing any changes in patient conditions and modifying treatment plans as necessary.Participate in discharge planning, ensuring patients have the resources and knowledge needed for ongoing recovery at home.Engage in continuous professional education and training initiatives to stay updated with the latest practices and advancements in physical therapy.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work primarily with outpatient clients who present with a wide range of conditions including post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management. Our patient population values compassionate care, and your role will involve not only treating their physical ailments but also actively supporting their emotional well-being during the recovery journey.QualificationsMust possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Ability to implement and adapt treatment protocols based on the evolving healthcare landscape.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to accurately document patient assessments and treatment plans.Experience in educating patients and families regarding injury prevention and home exercise programs.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
