Used Car Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Used Car Service Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our dealership's quality and safety standards prior to sale. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive inspections on used vehicles (mechanical, electrical, and safety components)
• Diagnose issues and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner
• Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, fluid services, etc.)
• Complete reconditioning work to prepare vehicles for retail sale
• Accurately document inspections, findings, and repairs
• Communicate repair needs with service advisors and management
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety standards

Qualifications:

• Previous automotive technician experience required (used car or reconditioning experience preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Own tools required
• ASE certification preferred but not required
