Overview At DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Store Manager leads a store team to achieve operational excellence, drive sales and profitability, and provide a safe, welcoming shopping experience for all customers. The role focuses on coaching, talent development, and community engagement while maintaining visual standards, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention. Responsibilities • Directly involved in the interview and hiring process to build a diverse and skilled store team.

• Analyze sales and customer data to uncover trends and inform business decisions.
• Control costs and workforce budgeting through effective expense management.
• Ensure floor sets, visual standards, and store cleanliness meet company expectations.
• Prioritize community involvement and cultivate relationships with local leaders.
• Maintain compliance with safety, loss prevention, and cash-handling procedures to minimize shrink.

Qualifications 3 years of Retail Store Manager experience or 5 years of related management/customer-focused experience. Strong problem‑solving ability and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong people‑management skills and a demonstrated ability to develop talent. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Virtual Requirements Candidates must not use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) during virtual interviews or assessments. Cameras must stay on during all virtual interviews. Background checks, including ID verification, are required for offers. Compensation Targeted Pay Range: $90,200.00 – $154,000.00. Compensation is determined by experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
