Critical Care Registered Nurse

This position requires a shift from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients suffering from life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, severe trauma, and other critical medical issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced nursing skills and be adept at responding to complex situations in a high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients' conditions and implementing tailored care plans
• Treating wounds and providing advanced life support
• Assisting physicians with medical procedures
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
• Ensuring proper functioning of medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors
• Administering medications and intravenous fluids
• Executing suctioning procedures as necessary
• Collaborating with the critical care team
• Responding to life-threatening situations using established protocols
• Acting as a patient advocate and providing support to patient families

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming or multistate RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting
• Comfortable with occasionally caring for pediatric/adolescent patients
