Inspector

Perform inspections to meet customer specifications Communicate with various departments and participate in team activities to meet production goals Communicate production issues and take daily direction from the department supervisor Assist with final inspection to ensure products meet customer specifications Utilize micrometers and other measuring and quality control instruments Operate a computer to obtain work orders, schedules, and inventory existing supplies Assist in making product-specific shipping boxes according to work-order specifications Record in-process inspections and testing to maintain product traceability and run documentation Support quality, shipping, and value-added departments regarding product quality issues and material availability Assist with cycle counting and the nonconforming material process Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education Ability to use micrometers and various measuring and quality control instruments Ability to operate a computer to obtain work orders, schedules, and inventory information Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in quality control processes and the use of measuring instruments, ensuring products meet customer specifications.
