Until FT hires…most likely 08/27 What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? --EMR training If not familiar with Expanse. Shadow shift if not HCA experience Candidate Parameters Any specific fellowships/ certifications/ procedures/ competencies we are looking for? -- Board certified ABEM only Experience level—comfortable in busy community ER Credentialing questions: Will emergency privileges be an option? yes Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements? Yes usual per parallon Hospital/unit questions Number of ER Bays?--50 Number of Patients/Hour? 2 /hr What’s the patient mix? No trauma minimal peds Trauma center designation? None Is there nurse/APP Triage for lower acuity? No providers see all acuity Specialty Specific Questions: Emergency Medicine Shift lengths? 8 10 12---10 AM and PM Shift Coverage Needed? PM mostly from December on Staffing Model: How many other EM Providers are on at the same time? Staggered shifts. Single coverage only from 3 am to 6 am What does support staff include? Well staffed community ER ED Admission Rate? 30
