Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic imaging services using X-ray and radiologic technology to assist in patient diagnoses. Ensures the safety and comfort of patients while obtaining high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and radiologic equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.
• Follow established safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Assess patient condition and prepare them for imaging procedures.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in accordance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care during imaging processes.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiography or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an X-ray/Radiologic Technologist.
• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot radiologic equipment effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
• Current state licensure if required.
