In this role, you will drive automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a highly technical manufacturing environment. Working alongside operations, quality, and engineering teams, you'll leverage manufacturing technology, data analytics, and automation solutions to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on innovative power system products that help deliver reliable power to critical facilities around the world.What You Will DoDrive automation and digital manufacturing initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.Lead process improvement projects focused on manufacturing throughput, equipment performance, and production velocity.Design and optimize manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and automated systems to support business growth and operational excellence.Utilize data analytics tools, including Power BI and Power Platform applications, to identify trends, measure performance, and support decision-making.Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges and implement sustainable solutions.Support automated equipment, controls, robotics, and emerging manufacturing technologies to enhance operational capabilities.Manage manufacturing engineering projects from concept through implementation, including capital investments and process improvements.Develop and maintain manufacturing standards, procedures, documentation, and technical specifications.Apply critical thinking and engineering expertise to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.Support future-state manufacturing strategies through automation, standardization, and workforce cross-training initiatives.Degree RequirementBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field OR equivalent manufacturing engineering experience.What You Will Have Automation: Working knowledge of techniques and processes of automation; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.Discusses considerations for work cell design and effectiveness monitoring.Finds solution for key technical and people problems associated with transformation to lean.Explains issues and considerations of implementing lean in own function or area.Selects and utilizes tools, techniques and measurements associated with a lean assessment.Explains benchmarks and measures of effectiveness of lean.Manufacturing Processes: Working knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes;
