Job Description
As a Security Officer Part Time Bank Patrol in Hunt Valley, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
