Litigation Attorney

Litigation Associate AttorneyDirect Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in Birmingham, AL.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join a dynamic, full-service litigation practice. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and complex litigation matters while receiving substantial client contact, meaningful responsibility, and partnership-track opportunities.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in commercial, regulatory, and complex litigation matters.Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation filings.Manage all phases of discovery in complex litigation, including written discovery, document production, and depositions.Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.Manage multiple litigation matters while collaborating with attorneys across the practice.QualificationsJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.Active membership in the Alabama Bar.3-5 years of litigation experience.Strong knowledge of litigation procedure and experience managing complex discovery.Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.Outstanding communication, organizational, and client service skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in-office in Birmingham, AL.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $250,000-$315,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time offAnnual bonus eligibility
