Water / Wastewater Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Water Business Group in Cincinnati, Ohio. The engineer will collaborate with a team on studies, detailed design, and construction services for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems. Primary Responsibilities Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems. Prepare drawings, write specifications, analysis, and study-level reports, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and provide cost estimation. Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) certification. M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred. MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience. A minimum of 3 years experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects. Preference given to local candidates. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field. Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects. Valid professional engineering license recognized in the location of the position offered. Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to complete tasks.
