The Finance Consultant facilitates vehicle financing, sells aftermarket products (warranties, GAP, etc.), and ensures regulatory compliance at a dealership. They act as a crucial link between customers and lending institutions, securing loans, finalizing paperwork, and maximizing dealership profitability while providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealership Financing: Working with financial institutions to secure competitive loan rates for customers.
- Product Sales: Presenting and selling financing options, extended warranties, service contracts, and other protective products.
- Paperwork Processing: Ensuring all sales, finance, and licensing documents are accurate, signed, and compliant with state and federal laws.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Maintaining a, 100% compliance rate with \Red Flag\ laws and other regulations.
- Customer Experience: Explaining complex financial terms and products clearly to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales, finance, or insurance.
- Skills: Strong communication, sales negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Technical: Proficiency in computer software for deal processing.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with dealership operating systems and compliance regulations.
- Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor for client interaction.
- Confidence: Confidence and an outgoing attitude are inherent skillsets that lend itself well in this position.
Typical Working Conditions
- This role requires working at an amazingly beautiful dealership, typically 5 days a week, with Sundays & Mondays off.
- The position is high-energy, aiming to meet daily, monthly, and annual sales goals.
