AI-Native Web Developer

Role Description

This is a remote position. You will design, build, and ship marketing sites and landing pages across the Spektra portfolio — CloudLabs, CSP Control Center, SaaSify, CloudEvents, and spektrasystems.com — with AI agents as your execution engine. This isn’t a “prompt engineer” job; it’s a hybrid role where you direct AI agents, review their work, and own the outcome across five distinct brands.

What You’ll Do

• Ship marketing pages, landing pages, and microsites across all five Spektra properties using Claude Code (or equivalent) as your primary execution engine.
• Iterate via screenshots, browser inspection, and tight critique loops — not line-by-line typing.
• Maintain each brand’s voice and visual identity distinct:
• CloudLabs is opinionated and transparent.
• CSP Control Center is procurement-focused and technical.
• SaaSify is partner-channel-led.
• CloudEvents is energetic and event-driven.
• Spektra Systems is the trust-and-compliance parent.
• Rewrite any AI-generated copy to match the appropriate brand voice.
• Maintain design discipline across the portfolio — using semantic tokens, component reuse, and custom designs where necessary.
• Own SEO end-to-end across every site, including:
• Canonical URLs
• Redirects
• Structured data
• Internal linking
• Top-traffic-URL protection through migrations.
• Architect information for messy real-world products, designing information architecture for distinct audiences.
• Run competitive research and translate findings into design and content choices that fit each brand.
• Decide when to share components across brands and when to keep them separate.
• Build a shared design-system foundation that accelerates work.
• Push back on AI output when it’s incorrect.

Qualifications

• AI fluency: Experience shipping real production work with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
• Design taste: Ability to discern quality design and avoid generic templates.
• Multi-brand judgment: Ability to hold and switch between five distinct brand voices.
• Frontend chops: Proficiency in Astro, Next, React, Tailwind v4, modern build tooling, and git.
• SEO depth: Understanding of canonical loops, 301 redirects, and SEO recovery.
• Bias to ship: Preference for merging iterations over seeking perfection.
• Comfortable with brutal feedback loops: Ability to accept critique as constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Show output rather than years of experience.
• Ability to code without AI is not a primary concern.
