Housekeeping Supervisor

Housekeeping Supervisor Rate: $30 - $32/hour + $3 shift differential (depending on experience) Shift: Part-Time Schedule: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, every other weekend Northgate Health Care Facility is looking to add a Housekeeping Supervisor to its team. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily housekeeping and laundry operations that help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff and ensure adequate departmental coverage * Oversee the collection, laundering, distribution, and safeguarding of resident linens and personal belongings * Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained * Coordinate housekeeping and laundry services with other departments to support resident care * Develop daily, short-range, and long-range plans for housekeeping and laundry operations * Assign duties, evaluate staff performance, and assist with training and orientation of team members

• Manage department inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
• Maintain compliance with resident rights, safety standards, infection control

practices, and facility policies

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Environmental Services preferred * Minimum experience requirement: 1 year working in a housekeeping or laundry position; 1 year of supervisory experience in a service industry preferred

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and

interdisciplinary teams

• Knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, safety, and infection control practices
• Ability to identify and address operational and safety concerns
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and resident-centered environment
