This role involves providing comprehensive care within an acute care setting, focusing on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. Utilize advanced equipment like EPIC computer charting and OBIX monitoring systems to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Obstetrics

• Care for OB triage, labor & delivery, postpartum, well-newborns, and special care nursery
• Interpret fetal monitor strips and attend vaginal deliveries
• Provide immediate care and resuscitation of newborns
• Float to General Medical unit when required

Requirements of the RN - Obstetrics

• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in obstetrics
• Proficiency in interpretation of fetal monitor strips
