About Unither Manufacturing LLC Based in Rochester, NY, this site specializes in the manufacture of Blow‑Fill‑Seal, Liquid Stick‑Packs, Pharmaceutical bottles, Tablets and Capsules, and supports more than 360 employees. Your Role Reporting to the QC Supervisor – Finished Products, you will perform analyses of materials, drug substances and drug products in accordance with cGMPs, support method development and validation, and maintain and improve laboratory quality systems. Responsibilities Perform, interpret, evaluate, and record routine and non‑routine analytical lab tests of materials, drug substances, and drug products following cGMPs. Execute written protocols and experiments. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instruments and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply of test materials for daily testing. Maintain and update training records. Support method development, method validation, and method transfer activities. Proactively identify issues, communicate findings, and implement solutions. Investigate problems and support troubleshooting, writing investigations under supervision. Recommend and assist in implementing improvements to procedures. Maintain laboratory in compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, HS&E requirements, FDA, DEA, USP, EP, and OSHA regulations. Implement and monitor training to ensure GMP, regulatory, and customer requirements are met. Your Profile Qualifications / Experience 5+ years of experience in chemistry or a related science discipline. Specific Skills Experience with laboratory analytical techniques. Ability to operate and maintain HPLC systems and/or dissolution equipment and spectroscopic instrumentation (UV/Vis, FTIR). Experience with HPLC method development and validation in a pharmaceutical environment. Experience with written notebook documentation practices. Computer Skills Basic Outlook skills for email and calendar management. Intermediate Microsoft Word skills, including document creation, formatting, and mail merge. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, charts, and data organization. Familiarity with LIMS and instrument operating software. Physical Requirements / Environment Visual acuity, color recognition, finger dexterity. English proficiency for reading, writing, and communication. Work with chemical and biological agents under assigned hazards. 50% sitting and 50% standing. Repetitive hand use and occasional lifting up to 35 pounds. Normal office environment with occasional controlled environment work requiring removal of jewelry and cosmetics. May involve weekends, holidays, and irregular hours. Compensation Range USD – The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries or hourly rates will be set within the compensation range.
