Job Overview Serve as the Senior Contracts Manager within Booz Allen Hamilton's Defense business supporting the Air Force and critical defense missions and acquisition strategies. Act as the senior leader of a high-energy, dynamic contracts team, reporting directly to the Director of Global Defense. Direct and coordinate the contract functions with a focus on acquisition client relationship management, terms and conditions, proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation across a myriad of program types, including systems development, product sales, technical and professional services, and fixed price engagements. Provide expert advice and counsel to internal executives on contractual matters, including advising on contract strategy, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict of interest mitigation, and risk management. Interface directly with senior leadership, program managers, and contracting officers to address any issues that may arise during capture, proposal development, contract negotiation, execution, or completion. Develop a strategic vision for the Booz Allen Air Force contracting team, growing the team’s capabilities and offerings to meet business objectives, balancing comprehension of company objectives with current and emerging client requirements and external trends.
