About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric or family care, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental and physical well-being of our clients. This position involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for behavioral health clients.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications tailored to client needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to monitor treatment progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to provide holistic, client-centered care.
• Monitor clients’ physical health and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of North Carolina.
• PMHNP (Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) certification is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on psychiatric or family care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.

Charlotte, Concord, Salisbury, Kannapolis, Greensboro, Asheville, Rutherfordton, Hickory, Forest City, Gastonia, Shelby, Kings Mountain, Monroe, and High Point.
