Slovensky Divorce & Family Law exists to help good people tackle hard things. Our clients come to us during a divorce, a custody fight, the unraveling of a family. It is, for many of them, the worst stretch of their lives. Our entire mission is to be the most effective, best prepared family law advocates in Virginia, so that when someone is scared and overwhelmed, they land with a steady, capable team instead of a stranger who treats them like a case number.

• You are the one who naturally organizes the group chat, color-codes the spreadsheet nobody asked you to color-code, and feels a small, private joy when a process finally runs clean.
• You are not scared of the technical side. An SEO dashboard, a WordPress backend, a vendor who is behind schedule: you would rather own it than avoid it.

What You'll Actually Do

You will be the internal owner of how this firm shows up in the world. Not the person who files tickets and waits for someone else to decide. The person who owns the outcome and makes all the moving parts work together.

Own how people find us

• Run our SEO from the inside: oversee implementation, monitor what is working, and catch the quiet problems (keyword cannibalization, pages competing with each other, rankings slipping) before they cost us clients.
• Keep our Google Business Profile active and sharp. For a lot of scared people Googling at midnight, that is their first impression of us.
• Tighten our website structure and attorney profile pages so the right person lands on the right page.
• Manage our directory presence (Justia and the rest) and our backlink efforts so our credibility shows up where it counts.
• Put our AI/SEO (AIEO) strategy to work so we stay visible as search itself changes.
• Manage our drip campaigns and marketing automations so nobody who reaches out slips through the cracks.
• Coordinate video marketing that puts a calm, human face on a scary process.
• Drive our social media content execution and help build lead magnets worth downloading.
• Run our hiring and recruitment campaigns on Facebook (yes, you will help us find more good people too).
• Support PR campaigns and press releases when we have something worth saying.
• Be the steady point of contact for our WordPress and technical support vendors, and supervise the content vendors who execute, so the outside specialists actually deliver.
• Monitor site updates and optimization so nothing silently breaks.
• Tell us the truth, with data, about whether each effort is helping or hurting our rankings and visibility. You are the early warning system.
• Build relationships with local referral businesses and support our referral development.
• Handle friendly client check-in calls when needed, the kind that remind someone they are a person to us, not a case file.

• Schedule: Full-time
• Compensation: $45,000-48,000
• What you bring: A bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, or something close (or equivalent experience that proves it); 2 to 5 years in marketing with real exposure to SEO, content, and campaign execution; comfort owning the SEO fundamentals (Google Business Profile, on-page structure, directory and backlink work, and reading analytics to spot what is climbing and what is tanking); experience coordinating vendors and keeping projects on track; familiarity with marketing automation or drip tools, a CRM, and the major social platforms; and a friendly, professional way with people on the phone and in person. Bonus points if you have used ChatGPT or other AI tools to speed up content and SEO work, and the idea of AIEO excites you instead of scaring you.
