About Us: Skateworld San Diego is the city’s only indoor roller skating rink and has been a community destination for nearly 50 years. We provide a fun and safe environment for families, skaters of all ages, and event-goers. We’re looking for a responsible and professional Door Security Person to help maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Job Responsibilities: Greet and check guests at the entrance to ensure compliance with rink policies. Monitor guest behavior and enforce safety rules and conduct policies. Conduct bag checks and ensure no outside food, drinks, or prohibited items are brought in. Assist with crowd control, especially during busy sessions, parties, and special events. Handle any disturbances or security concerns professionally and de‑escalate situations as needed. Work closely with management and team members to maintain a secure environment. Respond to emergencies and follow Skateworld’s safety procedures. Maintain a friendly and welcoming presence while ensuring order and security. Qualifications: Previous security, customer service, or related experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication and de‑escalation skills. Professional, alert, and attentive to detail. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Why Join Our Team?
