As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access points, verify credentials, support badge processes, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet-based systems, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while supporting security-related operations. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain entry records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe delivery, shipping, and receiving access activity and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
