Power the future of Space at Star Catcher

Star Catcher is powering the future of space by building the world's first orbital energy grid: the Star Catcher Network. Spacecraft connect into the Star Catcher Network and receive conditioned energy via their existing solar arrays, requiring no retrofit to utilize the first true space-based infrastructure. The Star Catcher Network provides power as needed from tens of Watts to tens of thousands of Watts at concentrations from fractions of a Sun of flux to ten Suns of flux.

The Star Catcher Network enables More Uptime, More Bandwidth, and More Mission.

Join our team of experienced and passionate space innovators driven to transform and expand humanity's utilization of space. The creation of space-based power infrastructure is as impactful for space missions in the 2020's and 2030's as the advent of low-cost launch services was in the 2010's. We seek individuals who share our passion for enabling people to do more in space and are not afraid to get their hands dirty to make our vision of the future reality.

Star Catcher Industries, Inc. (Star Catcher) , located in Jacksonville, Florida , is seeking an experienced, strategic, and operationally focused Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead, manage, and execute our organization's industrial security program. • Direct crisis management protocols, emergency action plans, active shooter response, and physical safety operations.

Personnel Security & Clearance Management

• Manage the end-to-end personnel security clearance process via DCSA systems (e.g., DISS, NISS, e-QIP/NBIS), including initial applications, periodic reinvestigations, and status tracking.

• Partner with HR and Legal to manage onboarding/offboarding workflows, background checks, and immediate access revocations.

• Ensure strict organization-wide compliance with national frameworks and standards, including NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, ITAR/EAR, and ISO 27001.
• Partner with IT and CISO leadership to ensure secure communications, network integrity, and compliance across classified and unclassified processing areas.
• Conduct periodic self-inspections, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigations to ensure full readiness for official DCSA security audits.

Insider Threat & Incident Response

• Manage and enforce the company's Insider Threat Program, serving as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) or primary manager.
• Direct investigations into security breaches, clearance violations, physical incidents, property theft, or compromise of classified/proprietary information.
• Champion company-wide security awareness training to foster a proactive security culture across all departments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
