Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - 7AM to 7PM Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in the Respiratory Care Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and experience with both adult and pediatric patients. This position promises to be both rewarding and challenging, allowing healthcare professionals to make a significant difference in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective airway management and ventilator management for adult and pediatric patients.
• Support the emergency department as needed.
• Engage in effective communication with staff and healthcare providers to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment, including G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, V60/V30.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care RRT hospital experience.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience in a Level III NICU and pediatric settings is a must.
• Preferred candidates will have critical care experience, particularly in PICU.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.

This position offers a 7AM to 7PM shift.
