Purchasing Specialist

Hybrid in Schaumburg, IL (3 days onsite & 2 days remote) Key Responsibilities: PO Management: Efficiently enter, process, and track all indirect Purchase Orders (POs) ensuring accuracy and compliance. Supplier Onboarding & Maintenance: Handle end-to-end supplier setup via the STR process and actively manage the company’s Approved Supplier List (ASL). Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: Interface directly with legal and our global teams (specifically based in Switzerland) to route, track, and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Engineering Document Control: Distribute Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) and engineering specifications directly to suppliers. Maintain meticulous logs of distribution and track all necessary supplier approvals. Ad-Hoc Technical Support: As bandwidth permits, provide administrative support to the "upstairs" engineering and planning teams by inputting technical specifications directly into company systems. Qualifications: Proven background as a Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, or Procurement Clerk with direct experience processing indirect POs and managing supplier documentation. Hands-on experience operating within major ERP systems Exceptional administrative skills with a proven ability to heavy‑lift complex paperwork, manage strict documentation routing, and maintain flawless global supplier records. Confidence and clarity in collaborating across multiple internal departments (Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Legal) and external global suppliers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
