Description:
No blocked scheduling.
No holidays off.
Patient ratios are variable.
The unit has a total of 444 beds and consists of 8 core staff and 5 prn staff.
There are 3 RTs on the night shift, including a supervisor.
The typical equipment used includes ventilators, BiPAPs, oxygen devices, blood draw supplies, and Vapotherm.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.
Candidates lacking critical care experience will not be considered for the role.
Preferred candidates may have ER experience.
Typical procedures performed on this unit include ventilator operation and bronchoscopies.
The ideal personality fit would possess the ability to prioritize and operate under stressful conditions.
Standard RT scope of practice guidelines will be followed.
Weekends will be rotating.
