Maintenance Technician - Metal Stamping

Maintenance Technician

Inova Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background maintaining and repairing metal stamping presses in a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone with extensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoys keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on metal stamping presses and related production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Diagnose equipment failures and make timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Use precision measuring and diagnostic instruments, including voltmeters and other testing equipment.
• Assist with machine installations, adjustments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document maintenance activities and completed repairs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining metal stamping presses required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with PLCs or logic controllers is highly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently while contributing as part of a maintenance team.
