Maintenance Technician - Metal Stamping

Maintenance Technician
Inova Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background maintaining and repairing metal stamping presses in a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone with extensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoys keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on metal stamping presses and related production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
- Diagnose equipment failures and make timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Use precision measuring and diagnostic instruments, including voltmeters and other testing equipment.
- Assist with machine installations, adjustments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document maintenance activities and completed repairs.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment reliability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience maintaining metal stamping presses required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with PLCs or logic controllers is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while contributing as part of a maintenance team.
