Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Manage and monitor fresh open heart surgery patients beginning on post-operative day zero
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of New York (or compact equivalent)
• Epic EMR experience required
• CVICU or CTICU nursing experience required, including care of post-operative open heart patients
• Influenza vaccination required — no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) setting
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and management of post-cardiac surgery complications
