Job Title: CDL Driver
Location: San Antonio, TX
Shift: Morning & Night Shift, 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am
Pay: $20 an hour
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL Drivers / Yard Jockeys to join our team at a leading Toyota supplier facility. This position involves moving trailers and materials within the plant and yard areas, ensuring efficient flow of production and shipping operations.
This is a local position—drivers are home daily. No over-the-road (OTR) travel is required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Perform trailer spotting and yard management duties
- Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and production teams
- Maintain accurate movement logs and required documentation
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
- Ensure timely movement of materials to support production schedules
- Move trailers safely throughout the yard and between designated locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Clean driving record preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Previous yard jockey, spotter, shuttle, or local driving experience preferred
