Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide experienced ICU nursing care to diverse patient populations including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and best practices.
• Document patient care activities accurately within the Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, recovery processes, and health management.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of current ICU experience.
• Possess prior travel nursing experience.
• Have proficiency with Cerner EMR software.
• Provide a supervisory reference from the past year of employment.
• Be able to start during the week of 08/10 with a maximum of 3 days off RTO.
