Compensation:

$36,000 - $41,00 per year based on $17 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:

• With an "own it" mentality, we expect you to come in and be proactive about setting your station, doing prep, and cleaning.

• Following proper food safety procedures.

• Preparing food, including cleaning and cutting the ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks.

• Plating prepared foods based on the executive chef and sous chef guidance.

• Working with expo, waitstaff, and the General Manager to ensure that orders are completed according to requests, on time, and in full.

• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils, and storing the equipment at the end of each shift.

• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.

• Willingness to take on all necessary tasks that help elevate standards and are assigned by management. Whether this is a daily opening and closing duty or a new task that needs to be done.

• Proactive sense of urgency during all tasks. This includes prepping, cleaning, and cooking to order.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring efficiency and quality.

• Ability to follow recipes and instructions from the executive chef with precision.

• Proven track record of maintaining cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas.

• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and commitment to upholding them.

• Ability to work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

• Experience in preparing a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.

• Ability to manage time effectively, balancing multiple tasks during busy service periods.

• All things done with a positive attitude.

• Up-to-date Texas food handler certificate or Texas food manager certificate.

• Ability to show up when scheduled, on time, and in uniform.
