HR Business Partner Manager - Global Functions

Overview HR Business Partner Manager – Global Functions. This role is designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. If you are looking to stretch and grow your career, our culture will embrace you. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners supporting Global Functions. Set clear performance expectations; provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development support. Build HRBP capability as work shifts toward more complex, judgment-based, and advisory HR support. Reinforce adherence to the HR Operating Model, including clear role boundaries between HRBP, Country HR, People Care, and COEs. Address role ambiguity, scope creep, and inconsistent practices across Global Functions; drive consistency in HRBP ways of working while allowing for nuance where necessary. Serve as an escalation point for complex people matters requiring experienced HR judgment. Translate enterprise and Global HR and Global Function L1 priorities into clear, actionable guidance for HRBPs. Ensure HRBPs are aligned and prepared prior to change rollout to business stakeholders. Partner with HR leaders, COEs, Country HR, and People Care to ensure seamless end-to-end HR support. Identify systemic issues impacting HR delivery and recommend improvements to governance, processes, or capability. Balance HRBP workload, coverage, and prioritization to ensure sustainable delivery and impact. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, global organization. Strong understanding of HR operating models, shared services, and global HR governance. Experience supporting many different client groups across a large organization (HPE preferred). Strong HR judgment and ability to manage complex, sensitive people issues. Ability to translate strategy into clear expectations and execution; effective coaching, feedback, and talent development skills. Strong stakeholder management and influence capabilities; comfort leading through ambiguity and change. Enterprise mindset with the ability to balance consistency with specific global function needs.
