Responsibilities & Requirements As a part of the retail team, this position is responsible for executing transactions and processing payments from guests utilizing our point of sale (POS) system. This is a guest facing position, and may also assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory, as needed. This position reports to the location Team Leader or Retail Area Manager. This is a seasonal, part to full time position. Location may vary based on business needs. Accurately record sales using POS system Accept payment and process transactions Ability to lift and place retail items on shelves Interact with guests in a friendly manner at all times Works well in a fast paced, team environment Ability to quickly resolve guest issues Ability to work in variable weather conditions Ability to lift 25 lbs, 25-50 lbs frequently Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist and reach for extended periods of time Interest in guest service—experience not required Vala’s Pumpkin Patch is committed to equal employment opportunity.
