What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in keeping our billing and Accounts Receivable operations running smoothly. Your work will directly support our financial accuracy, customer satisfaction, and overall operational success.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Preparing and issuing accurate customer invoices
• Posting payments and applying credits
• Reviewing billing data for accuracy and completeness
• Resolving billing discrepancies and responding to customer inquiries
• Maintaining Accounts Receivable records and documentation
• Monitoring outstanding invoices and assisting with collections
• Generating billing, aging, and AR reports
• Coordinating with internal departments to verify billing information
• Supporting month‐end close activities
• Maintaining organized billing files
• Assisting with audits and providing documentation as needed
• Handling order entry, vendor follow‐ups, and general administrative tasks

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is detail‐oriented, organized, and confident in a fast‐paced office environment.

Essential qualifications:

• 2+ years of billing (non‐medical), AR, or clerical accounting experience
• Experience in freight, transportation, logistics, or a similar industry
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and billing practices
• Hands‐on experience with QuickBooks Online
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to review, reconcile, and organize billing information
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience with invoices, credits, debits, bills of lading, and customer orders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
• Good judgment, problem‐solving skills, and a willingness to jump in where needed
