Responsibilities Provide relief coverage for meal and rest periods for staff assigned to care for patients. Ensure seamless continuation of patient care during nurse breaks and absences. Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments. Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records during relief coverage. Support nursing staff by addressing immediate patient care needs and resolving any issues that arise during coverage. Understand and apply the City of Hope Code of Conduct, Code of Organizational Ethics, policies, procedures, performance and quality improvement objectives. Part‑time nights – 7pm to 7:30am. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. 3–5 years of experience. Current CA RN License. BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate or Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
