Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapies, under the guidance of the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients about rehabilitation exercises and self-care activities to promote recovery and ongoing health.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions with precision and care.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of patient health.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques such as trigger point therapy to address specific pain points when appropriate.
• Participate in occupational health initiatives to enhance workplace wellness and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic pain, and varied mobility challenges stemming from injuries or degenerative conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) state license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is essential.
• Thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is crucial.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic techniques is expected.

Compensation and Benefits
