Summary
Eastern Pulaski Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Elementary School Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and observations, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to design interdisciplinary projects and activities that enhance the educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns, establishing strong home-school connections.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
- Manage classroom behavior and implement effective discipline strategies to maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Support students' social and emotional development by promoting positive interactions and conflict resolution skills.
- Organize and participate in school events, such as parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and extracurricular activities.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or license for elementary education.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance learning experiences.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Previous teaching experience in an elementary school setting is preferred but not required.
