About the Role:

Join our culinary team at Cornerstone Restaurant as an Experienced Linecook or Sous Chef! We are seeking passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to showcase their culinary skills while contributing to our vibrant kitchen culture. Candidate will work closely with our current chef & sous chef to ensure consistency and management of the kitchen. Ideal candidate will understand cooking procedures and have decent food knowlegde.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our established recipes and standards.

Assist in menu planning and development while ensuring food presentation is top-notch.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold our culinary standards.

Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Adapt to changing menus and special requests with creativity and flexibility.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Proven experience as a Line Cook or Sous Chef with strong culinary skills.

Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent preferred.

Passion for food and a commitment to excellence in culinary arts.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
