Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Grill Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen. Responsibilities: Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions Follow standard recipes and special diet orders Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances Qualifications: Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques Strong attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well in teams Company Description Alankar Inc. specialize in Fast and Flexible Nutritious and Vegetable-focused Menus. Alankar Inc (AI) is currently working as a Prime contractor for Federal Aviation Administration to run the cafeteria. AI’s team performs 100% of Cafeteria's operational and managerial functions. The services we provide have been consistently exceptional because of the emphasis on the quality of food and customer service. Our solid performance is evidenced by the continuous renewal of our annual contract since 2013 with a growth of approximately 10% each year.
