Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 12-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend rotation required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, managing a wide range of patient diagnoses from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic and challenging environment.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and protocols in emergency patient care.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to respond to various medical emergencies.
• Manage and administer emergency medications, monitor patient vitals, and provide necessary interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid RN license in the state of Maryland or a Compact License.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience is required.
• CPI, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Strong candidates without prior travel experience may be considered.
