Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (Rad Tech) - Cath Lab

Pay Range: $32.58 - $48.87 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists play an essential role in supporting physicians during a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, helping deliver safe, high-quality care to patients with heart and vascular conditions. In this role, the Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist assists physicians by operating fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, preparing and passing instruments, catheters, and other procedural supplies, and monitoring patients throughout procedures to support positive clinical outcomes. This position collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care across the cardiovascular procedural environment. We are hiring Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists at Levels I, II, and III. Placement within the appropriate level and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements. Position Specifics: Department: Cath Lab Core Function: Imaging Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Days - 10 hour shifts (7am-530pm), on call and weekend rotation Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital Location: O'Fallon, IL Sign On: $15,000 Compensation aligned with your experience Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist II $34.21 - $51.31/hour Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist I $32.58 - $48.87/hour Education Qualifications Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required. Experience Qualifications 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required. Cross‑trained and able to rotate to perform at least three (3) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required. Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
