About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled RN Wound Nurse to join our wound care team on a full-time basis. As an RN Wound Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents with wounds, pressure ulcers, and other skin-related issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective wound care plans, addressing patient needs, and promoting healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, develop, and implement individualized wound care plans for residents
Provide wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and compression therapy
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on wound care and prevention
Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and progress

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Current RN licensure in the State of New York
Experience in wound care or related field
