Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrician(s) with proven expertise in petroleum electrical installations and hazardous location environments. You will be responsible for leading site projects independently, running conduit, pulling wire, troubleshooting circuits, and wiring gas and diesel dispensers, submersibles, and monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

Petroleum Electrical Systems: Install, wire, and service fuel dispensers, submersible turbine pumps (STPs), leak detectors, and interface controls.
Explosion-Proof Installations: Strictly adhere to NEC Class 1, Division 1 & 2 hazardous location standards for conduit seals, explosion-proof fittings, and wiring.
Conduit & Circuitry: Bend, route, and mount rigid and EMT conduit, run wire, and perform advanced circuit diagnostics with little to no supervision.
Site Leadership: Manage assigned jobs independently, coordinate with site superintendents/contractors, and ensure projects stay on schedule and up to code.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience in petroleum, fueling station, or heavy industrial gas/diesel environments.
Technical Knowledge: Expertise in explosion-proof wiring, dispenser logic wiring, conduit bending, and electrical control circuits.
Driving & DOT: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Must have a current DOT Medical Card (or be willing to obtain one upon hire).
Travel Availability: Willing and able to travel across Florida, GA, NC, SC, and AL, including extended out-of-town overnight stays.
Work Ethic: Highly reliable, self-directed, and safety-focused. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
