Location:  Arnold AFB, TN

 

Exp Federal is an established Design Build firm that provides a full range of exceptional design and construction solutionsto the federal government. Our team of professionals operates in some of the most challenging environments to provide support services to a variety of governmental agencies globally.

The Challenge: 

We are seeking a talented Construction Manager to add to our construction team in Tennessee. Exp Federal’s Construction Managers coordinate, schedule, and supervise construction projects from development to completion. 

Principle Areas of Responsibility:

• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate construction projects, including scheduling meetings and reviewing project documents as needed.
• Must be able to develop and implement QC plans, safety plans, and schedules. 
• Demonstrated experience and competency applying the principles of UFGS 01 45 00.00 (Quality Control) and EM 385-1-1 Safety & Health Requirements.
• Responsible for developing dig permits, outage plans, etc. as needed to schedule the work with the end users.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years construction experience 
• Understands all facets of the construction process
• Preferred QCM Trained, OSHA 30 Hour trained, Trade License (Electrician, Plumber, etc.)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Desired Skills

• · Proven work experience in US Government construction management
• · Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

Salary Base:

This full-time position as a Construction Manager has an hourly range of $60.00-$80.00. The actual hourly rate is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
