SAS Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAS Developer to lead the development and implementation of SAS-based solutions. This role involves managing data integrity, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS programming, data analysis, and project leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAS programs and solutions Ensure accuracy and reliability of data through rigorous testing and validation Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior SAS developers Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources Collaborate with data analysts, statisticians, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAS programs, processes, and data structures Stay current with SAS technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Minimum 7 years of experience in SAS programming and data analysis At least 3 years in a lead or senior role Proficiency in SAS Base, SAS Macro, and SAS SQL Experience with SAS BI tools and SAS administration (preferred) Familiarity with source control/versioning software Experience with Agile development lifecycle Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with data warehouses and claims data Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare or public health domains Exposure to SAS BI tools and administration Experience with SpecFlow for unit testing #J-18808-Ljbffr
