Engineering Technician
$20 - $24.73 per hourManpower San Diego
Base pay range $20.00/hr - $24.73/hr Principal Duties and Responsibilities Help set up and maintain benches, testers, and other equipment. Transport, install, upgrade, and configure equipment and components. Perform basic measurements following SOP, contribute to documentation of test results, and maintain malfunction records. Help conduct basic troubleshooting and perform basic repair work, rework, removal, and adjustments to equipment as necessary with individuals inside own team. Help set up test equipment using hand tools or automatic test methods to perform routine tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Execute manual and automated test plans as defined and reproduce and debug routine issues. Top 5 Required Skills Proficiency with Hand-Tools Hand-soldering Proficient with PC operation and MS-Office Able to communicate progress and issues with engineering stakeholders. Ability to multi-task and change priority. Technologies How to use soldering irons and hand tools, such as screw drivers, pliers. Required Years of Experience 1+ year of experience with general computer skills and Microsoft applications. 1+ year of experience in Semiconductor or related industry.
