Cor-Vanama Solutions dba Consumer Directions Inc. is a Financial Management Service (FMS) that provides the payroll and administrative support to individuals who are part of various Minnesota Department of Human Services programs with the goal of the participant remaining in their home with the paid assistance of their family members and friends. Our passion is to help families navigate their journey through self-directed services.

This is a full time, hourly, in office position within our FMS Department at our St Joseph location. The ideal candidate possesses great attention to detail, likes to work with numbers, budgets, and spreadsheets, and reconciling information. We are looking for a self-motivating individual who is proficient, adaptable, can provide exceptional customer service and stay positive while navigating new scenarios daily in an evolving, fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities: The FMS Financial Support Specialist position will be entrusted with a caseload of participants and assigned, but not limited to, the following duties:

• Process and reconcile time entries and invoices with a high level of accuracy
• Contribute to maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable information
• Review and monitor participant budgets
• Assist participants with managing their plans and budgets
• Identify discrepancies and research information to ensure records are accurate and complete
• Provide support to employees with electronic timesheets and related questions
• Communicate regularly with participants, employees, providers, and other professionals by phone and email
• Perform general accounting and administrative functions in accordance with established procedures
• Organize and prioritize daily work to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records
• Provide responsive, professional, and compassionate customer service
• Learn and adapt to changing processes, systems, and requirements

• Understands the importance of confidentiality, accuracy, and following established procedures

Physical Demands :

• This position may be completed sitting or standing.
• This position may infrequently require lifting up to 20 lbs.

Travel:

• This position may require local travel to our second office location or training venue.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Preferred : Bookkeeping, MS Excel proficiency, and some accounting experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

• Upon hire, all candidates must pass a state-run background check and complete fingerprinting.
• Upon hire, candidates will be subject to a driving record check and must possess a valid driver's license.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $20-$22/hour; 40 hours a week
