Location: Jacksonville, Florida (in office) Employment Type: Full-time Compensation Range: $49,250.00-$60,000.00 base plus opportunity for commission. The Role The Retirement Consultant guides pre-retirees and retirees through the move from accumulating wealth to living on it. You will lead discovery conversations, help deliver exceptional service, and build long-term relationships with the households you serve. What You Will Do Conduct discovery meetings to understand each household's income needs, assets, timeline, and goals. Build and present retirement income plans. Support clients with employer plan decisions, including Florida Retirement System (FRS) pension and federal and military retirement benefits. Coordinate with the firm's tax and estate planning partners so each client's plan is fully integrated. Hold annual and life-event reviews and keep plans current as circumstances change. Represent the firm at community workshops and educational events in the Jacksonville market. What You Bring An active Series 65, or Series 66 with Series 7. Registration is a condition of client-facing advisory work. At least 3 years of experience in retirement planning, financial planning, or a client-facing wealth management role. A working knowledge of retirement income planning, Social Security, Medicare, and tax-efficient distribution. Clear, warm communication that makes complex financial topics understandable. A clean regulatory and compliance record. Preferred Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity license. Experience with FRS, TSP, or military retirement benefits.
